William Gamble      Music and Writing

Welcome

I'm William (Bill) Gamble, a writer and composer focused on the intersection of literature and music.

I compose chamber and folk music, and write progressive/experimental fiction. Lately I've been doing alchemy with all the above, much of it related to a project on Marco Polo's voyages and "Book" including art songs, short film, and literature. This alsoled to the "discovery" of a lingua ingnota, "Yi Lula’kjecq", literally translated as,”music of the moon”, a language isolate described in some detail at Arketis.com.

Snippets of recent work are found below just click on links to go to Bandcamp (always free listening) or Vimeo.

I'm a harpsichordist and often write for historical instruments and love exploring the similarities between Jazz and Early Music.

Thanks for visiting! / BG
